Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, let it heat in the oven.
  • Roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle and transfer it to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Brush the edges of the dough with olive oil and spread a thin layer of pizza sauce or thickened birria broth on the dough.
  • Distribute the shredded birria beef evenly over the pizza.
  • Top it with Oaxaca and Monterey Jack cheeses.
  • Sprinkle the dried oregano and optional chili flakes on top.

Cooking

  • Bake for 10-14 minutes, watching until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
