Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.
  • Add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla to the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth.
  • Gradually stir in the boiling water until well combined.
  • Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes in the pans before transferring to wire racks.

Cheesecake Layer

  • Beat the softened cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar, vanilla, and eggs until creamy.
  • Pour into a greased 9-inch springform pan. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 40-45 minutes. Cool completely before removing.

Ganache and Frosting
