Preparation

  • Lightly grease a 6-quart slow cooker insert with nonstick spray or oil.
  • Add the diced potatoes, chicken, kielbasa, and onion to the crockpot.
  • Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese over the mixture and stir gently.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the contents of the crockpot.
  • Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese on top.
  • Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for 6-7 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
