Ingredients

For the pie

  • 1 pre-made graham cracker crust
  • 1 (3 oz) box lemon Jell-O
  • 1 (3 oz) box grape Jell-O
  • 1 (3 oz) box berry blue Jell-O
  • 1 cup boiling water (for each Jell-O flavor) Use 1 cup for each Jell-O flavor
  • 1 cup cold water (for each Jell-O flavor) Use 1 cup for each Jell-O flavor
  • 1 (8 oz) tub Cool Whip, thawed
  • Pastel sprinkles or mini marshmallows (for garnish)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Empty each Jell-O flavor into separate bowls. Pour 1 cup of boiling water into each bowl, stirring until completely dissolved. Stir in 1 cup of cold water into each mixture. Chill these bowls in the refrigerator for about 1 hour until they are slightly thickened.
  • Gently fold in one third of the Cool Whip into each bowl of Jell-O until combined.

Assembling the pie

  • Pour the lemon Jell-O mixture into the graham cracker crust and smooth the top. Chill for 15-20 minutes.
  • Add the grape Jell-O layer followed by the berry blue Jell-O, ensuring each layer has chilled sufficiently before adding the next.

Chill & Serve

  • Cover the pie and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, until fully set.
  • Once set, add a dollop of Cool Whip on top and sprinkle with pastel sprinkles or mini marshmallows. Slice and enjoy.

Notes

Consider experimenting with different flavors of Jell-O, and try adding a splash of fruit juice within the layers. Be patient while layering to maintain distinct colors.
