  • 3/4 cup milk or unsweetened almond milk Choose your preferred base for a rich and smooth texture.
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter Adds a nutty flavor while providing healthy fats.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances sweetness and depth of flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup Optional for extra sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice Brightens the flavors.
  • 1 tablespoon chopped almonds For garnish.
  • a few pieces extra frozen cherries For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Add the milk, Greek yogurt, almond butter, vanilla extract, fresh lemon juice, and honey (if using) to your blender.
  • Add the ripe banana and frozen cherries, breaking apart any larger clumps of frozen cherries.
  • Blend on low for a few seconds, then increase to high speed for 30 to 60 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  • Adjust thickness by adding more milk if too thick or adding more frozen cherries if too thin.
  • Pour the smoothie into glasses and enjoy cold!

Notes

For best flavor, use frozen dark sweet cherries. To thicken, use more banana or reduce milk. Adding spinach boosts nutrition without altering taste. Experiment with different nut butters.
