Ingredients
  

For the crust

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted, unsalted butter

For the filling

  • 3 packages softened cream cheese The star of the cheesecake.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs Helps bind the filling.
  • 1 cup sour cream Can substitute with Greek yogurt.
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract Adds warmth to the flavor.
  • 2 lemons zest For a citrus punch.
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice Enhances the citrus flavor.
  • 1/4 cup blueberry jam Enhances blueberry flavor.
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries Crucial for juicy bursts of flavor.

For garnishing

  • 1 cup lemon slices
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries Additional for decoration.
  • edible flowers For a beautiful finish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan and set it aside.
  • In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.

Making the Filling

  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Mix in the sour cream, vanilla extract, lemon zest, and lemon juice until fully incorporated.

Assembly

  • Pour half of the cheesecake batter over the crust.
  • Gently fold the blueberries and blueberry jam into the remaining batter, then pour it over the plain batter in the pan.

Baking

  • Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until the center is almost set.
  • Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door slightly open for 1 hour.

Cooling & Serving

  • Remove the cheesecake from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • Before serving, top the cheesecake with lemon slices, fresh blueberries, and edible flowers.

Notes

For an elevated flavor experience, consider letting the cheesecake sit overnight in the fridge. You can also swap out blueberries for other fruits like raspberries or strawberries for variety. A dollop of whipped cream on top adds richness.
