Ingredients
  

For the patties

  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 fat ratio for juiciness.
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

For the assembly

  • 6 pieces slider or mini brioche buns Soft and fluffy, perfect for cradling the burgers.
  • 1 tbsp butter For toasting the buns.
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese Or your favorite melting cheese.

Optional toppings

  • to taste pickles
  • to taste ketchup
  • to taste mustard
  • to taste burger sauce

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and pepper until just combined.
  • Shape the mixture into small slider-sized patties, about 2 inches in diameter.

Cooking

  • Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the patties for about 3–4 minutes per side until a golden crust forms.
  • When the patties are almost done, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cover with a lid for about 1 minute to melt the cheese.

Toasting Buns

  • Lightly butter the inside of the slider buns in a separate skillet and toast until golden brown.

Assembly

  • Assemble the sliders by stacking the cheesy patties onto the toasted buns.
  • Add your favorite toppings and serve hot.

Notes

To elevate flavor, consider adding garlic or onion powder to the beef mix. For variations, swap beef with turkey or chicken, or try different cheeses.
