Preparation

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté for about 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  • Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks for 7-8 minutes until no longer pink.
  • Stir in paprika, salt, pepper, and thyme; mix well.
  • Add shredded cabbage and combine, then pour in beef broth.
  • Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender.
  • Adjust seasoning if needed and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

To elevate your dish, you can add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots. For added heat, a pinch of red pepper flakes can be included.
