Prepare Teriyaki Sauce

Cook Turkey

  • Heat neutral oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add ground turkey and cook for about 5-6 minutes, breaking it up with a spatula until no longer pink.

Add Vegetables

  • Incorporate the diced onion, shredded carrot, bell pepper, chopped water chestnuts, and black pepper into the skillet.
  • Stir for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.

Combine with Sauce

  • Pour the prepared teriyaki sauce into the skillet, stirring to coat the mixture.
  • Allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken.

Assemble Wraps

  • Spoon the turkey mixture into large lettuce leaves to create wraps.
