Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds.
  • Introduce the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, and chili paste.
  • Toss in the diced red bell pepper and shredded carrots, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the chopped Thai basil and lime juice.

Assembly

  • Spoon the beef mixture into the butter lettuce leaves.
  • Encourage everyone to roll their own wraps.

Notes
