Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  • In a measuring cup, combine the plant milk and apple cider vinegar. Let this mixture sit for 5 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, matcha powder, salt, and nutmeg (if using).
  • Pour the milk mixture, vanilla extract, and oil into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.
  • Fill each donut cavity about three-quarters full with the batter.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes.

Glazing

  • Whisk together the powdered sugar, matcha powder, plant milk, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
